Trace estimates how much seed oil is in a meal from a photograph. This policy describes exactly what that requires us to collect, and what we do not collect.

Three processors, and no one else. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you for any purpose other than showing you your own results.
Every row in our database is restricted at the database level to the account that created it, so one account cannot read another's data even if the app is modified. Photographs are stored privately and are only readable through short-lived links issued to you. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
Settings → Delete account, inside the app. It removes your profile, every meal, every photograph and your account itself, immediately and permanently. There is no waiting period and you do not have to email anyone. If you would prefer we did it for you, write to support@atllas.com.
Trace is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Deletion is built into the app; for anything else, email support@atllas.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Trace estimates seed oil content from a photograph. Estimates are approximate and are presented as ranges for that reason. No health authority sets a limit on seed oil intake, and some omega-6 fat is essential in the diet. Trace tracks a dietary preference; it is not medical advice and it does not diagnose anything.
If this policy changes materially we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
